Begin Tells Likud Youth Chapter that the Two-State solution is no longer relevant.

                                                                     Translated by Daniel Tauber

Minister Benny Begin told a meeting Likud Youth in Petakh Tikvah last Thursday (July 1) that the two-state solution was no longer relevant.

Begin cited the fact that the Palestinian split between Gaza and Judea and Samaria would actually end up creating three states between Jordan and Mediteranean and the fact that it is not possible to arrive at an agreement with the PLO. Begin said that even moderate sources in the government have said that arriving at a political solution with the PLO is not achievable.

Other topics were discussed including the wholeness of the country, demographics, relations with Arabs of Israel and the spirit of the doctrine of the Likud and Jabotinsky.

The Meeting was held in the house of the chairman of Likud Youth PT, Daniel Giltzar and was attended by representatives from Likud Youth in other cities. The Likud Youth chapter representatives discussed how to cooperate and told Minister Begin that greater attention should be paid to the youth in the Likud.
